We went to YMT on Sunday for lunch but we couldn't find any parking spaces at their parking lot so we parked our car on Garvey instead. We ordered a few lunch specials such as clam with black bean sauce, seafood tofu, pork chop Peking style, and salted fish & chicken with mixed rice noodles & noodles. It came with a big bowl of complimentary soup and rice. The complimentary soup was not hot this time and the taste was not as flavorful as last time. (I had 3 bowls of soup last time but I couldn't even finish one this time). The clams were flavorful and the portion was okay, some of the clam shells did not have any clam inside though. The seafood tofu had a lot of seafood inside and the portion was good with about 8 big pieces of Tofu. It was delicious. My favorite dish was the Pork chop in Peking Style. The portion was huge, and the pork meat was juicy and tender and the sauce was on point. It was so flavorful. The salted fish & chicken with mixed rice noodles & noodles was big and it tasted pretty good too. They did not give us much salted fish so we didn't taste it right away. We got some food for to-go because the portions were big.

Been here twice for their geoduck!! So fresh and yummy!! If you spend $50, you can get the geoduck at $18.99/lb. We eat the tail sashimi style. They serve it on a bed of ice with wasabi on the side. You can opt for a second entree to cook the geoduck body either in a tofu veggie soup or fried. I've only tried the soup but it's so good and sweet. Will definitely be back a third and forth time just for the geoduck!! My next favorite dish is the fried intestines. It was so crispy, cooked just right and served with a sweet chili sauce. Nom nom nom. Stay away from the clay pot. Definitely not their specialty. The rice was soggy. They put too much water. The second time we tried the house special lobster. It's 19.99/lb about 3.5lbs. Very peppery. I enjoyed it. Service was good for a Chinese restaurant. They are usually pretty busy. Parking is in their parking lot. Will definitely be back!!

This was our first time trying so we ordered a little of everything. The place gets quite busy so coming a little bit early or late helped us find parking very easily. I loved their tea and their lunch special comes with rice and soup. The soup was delicious! I loved how they have fried garlic shishamo, not many places have this so I had to order it! Their basil clam and string bean dish was also my favorites. I did not love their seafood pepper udon however as it was a bit dry and less flavorful than some of the others I've tried. Otherwise, all other dishes were very yummy!

I always pass by this restaurant and see their lunch special banners and special promotion banners so I finally decided to come for dinner. Right after entering the restaurant, the staff were pretty welcoming and let us choose which table to sit at. Service: I think service is good depending on who you get. We also speak Cantonese so I feel like the staff was extra friendly and attentive towards us. There was a shorter waiter that was not as friendly but he only came to our table 2 times. Food: We ordered the following: * geoduck * pork stomach chicken soup * water spinach * sweet and sour fish fillet. Food was pretty good and portion was very generous. Only complaint I have is with the veggies. It tasted very bland and lacked salt. Price: Their pricing is also pretty good. I was surprised to see their lunch special is until 6 PM. They also have a special going on where if you spend $50, you get a promotional price for some items or something like that. I will return for their special promotions.

Great deals! There was a deal for 18.99 per lb for geoduck and 12.99 steamed fish! All the staff were super friendly and nice. Not too busy on a weekday night.

Came during their soft opening to buy a few dim sum to go after we just ate right next door which also opened. Talk about competition but not really as they sell quite different things and have their own specialty items. Their dim sum is generic and only have most popular items. Came here tonight for their lunch special that goes until 6pm which is actually dinner for us around 5ish so it's a deal for us! We ordered the following: - bittermelon with beef (beef was tender & this was flavorful) - green bean with chicken (generic and still good) - beef stew with turnip (beef was good but they didn't soak or slow cook the turnip long enough or at all so it was beyond bland & flavorless even) - steamed tilapia (we got this on the perfect day as we heard the waiter screamed out to chef f they bought more tilapia today. We lucked out with a very fresh tilapia as if we would have made it at home! Although i will say that the soy sauce on this was a bit sweeter than usual but with the fish being so fresh, it was a good exchange) Since we came so close to end of special, they already ran out of free broth soups. The tilapia also took forever to come out after our initial 3 dishes were already out but thank goodness it was worth the wait (today at least). Forgot to mention that as another yelper also mention, their free steamed rice is not cooked they way is should and is mushier than it should which sucks but edible i guess. Waiters were super friendly and nice but then again, it was not busy at all coming on a week night. Parking is plenty in a big shared lot with another restaurant adjacent to this. One flaw is although its a new restaurant, they didn't remodel much from previous place that has been there for decades so even if the place seems new, it smelled old and muggy. So if you have a sensitive scent of smell, you may be a bit disappointed going in at first (but I promise you nose will adjust to it) and especially the bathroom where its pretty much stained to the wall with bleach or other fragrance they have to try to mask it. I will still definitely come back for their special lunch aka early bird dinner special for us haha.

Service: 10/10 (Super friendly and attentive) Eggplant in Garlic Sauce: 5/10 (Needs more flavor) Egg Gravy and Beef Chow Fun: 9/10 (The beef was pretty tender) Overall, this place wasn't too bad. The portions were really big, and the service was exceptional. They give you free soup when you sit down, which is pretty cool. The food was decent, but nothing too extraordinary for me. I still need to try their other dishes to see if they can compete with other cafes.

Haven't been in this area for a while and decided to try this relatively new restaurant. Got there around 4pm and surprised to find that their lunch specials were available until 6pm. There were a lot of choices for $11.80 and $13.80 each, with complimentary soup and rice. The place is new and quite nicely decorated, with some nostalgic signs (in the back near the clean restrooms) of street and district names in Hong Kong. Since the restaurant was not too busy, service was very good and friendly and courteous. The two of us ordered the Beijing style pork chop and Chinese cabbage stir fried with dried shrimps and vermicelli from the $11.80 section; and the salt and pepper fish filet from the $13.80 section. All three dishes were very tasty and the portions were very generous. The complimentary soup (dried vegetable with pork bones 菜乾豬骨湯) was actually decent. We had enough leftovers for at least two more meals! It's hard to beat this kind of price and quality and portions. It's nothing fancy, but a good, solid option for an everyday meal.
